    1. Inside your Cowork workspace, open Settings → Integrations → Connectors.

    2. Search for Higgsfield and click Connect.

    3. You'll be redirected to higgsfield.ai to authorize the connection. Approve the OAuth scopes for image generation, video generation, and asset read.

    4. Back in Cowork, choose which projects Higgsfield can post assets to. We recommend a dedicated "Creative" project so generations don't clutter ops channels.

    5. Confirm the connection by typing `@Higgsfield ping` in any Cowork thread. You should get a status reply within a few seconds.

  17. Quick verification


    Before you brief a real campaign, confirm everything is wired correctly:


    1. Ping test — In any Cowork thread, type `@Higgsfield ping`. You should get a status reply within a few seconds. No reply means the connector isn''t authorized.

    2. Permissions test — Ask Claude: "List the Higgsfield models available in this workspace." Claude should return the current image and video models. If it says it can''t see Higgsfield, re-check connector scopes.

    3. Render test — Run a tiny image job: `@Higgsfield image prompt: "a single red apple on white seamless, studio light" aspect_ratio: 1:1`. A render should appear inline within ~30 seconds.

    4. Asset routing test — Click Send to project on the test render and confirm it lands in your "Creative" project library, not the thread only.

    Step 3 — Your first image generation


    In a Cowork thread, mention Claude and ask it to draft a Higgsfield prompt. For example:

    Step 4 — Your first video generation


    Higgsfield's edge is camera control. Use it.

    Step 6 — Iterate as a team


    This is where Cowork pays off. After the first render:


    1. Tag a teammate for feedback in the same thread.

    2. Ask Claude: "Tighten this prompt — make the lighting harsher and the camera move slower."

    3. Re-run `@Higgsfield video` with the revised prompt and the same seed to keep the look stable while changing one variable at a time.

    4. When approved, click Send to project to push the asset into your shared media library or directly into a Notion / Figma / Drive folder via the existing Cowork integration.


    Quality checklist before you ship


  25. Resolution: 1080p for social, 4K upscale via Higgsfield's built-in tool for paid placements

  30. Common pitfalls


  31. Vague prompts → mushy, generic output. Always specify lens and lighting.
  32. Too many camera moves in one clip → motion artifacts. One move per 5s.
  33. Over-long prompts (200+ words) → Higgsfield starts ignoring tail tokens. Keep under 80.
  34. Mixing aspect ratios mid-sequence → breaks visual continuity in a reel.

  35. Troubleshooting common setup failures


    Most issues fall into a handful of patterns. Work through them in this order before contacting support.


    1. `@Higgsfield ping` returns nothing


  36. Connector not authorized. Open Settings → Integrations → Connectors, find Higgsfield, and click Reconnect. Approve all scopes.
  37. Workspace admin disabled connectors. Ask your admin to enable third-party apps in Admin → Security → App connections.
  38. Wrong workspace. Connectors are per-workspace. If you switched workspaces, install the connector in the new one.

  39. 2. "Insufficient scopes" or "permission denied" errors


  40. Higgsfield needs three scopes: image generation, video generation, and asset read. If you skipped one during OAuth, the connector returns this error.
  41. Fix: disconnect, reconnect, and approve every requested scope.
  42. Enterprise tenants sometimes restrict scopes by policy — ask your admin to whitelist all three.

  43. 3. Job submitted but never renders


  44. Out of credits. Check higgsfield.ai → Billing. Team credit pools can drain silently if usage spikes.
  45. Queue backed up during peak hours (US evenings, EU mornings). Jobs >5 min old usually mean queue depth — wait or retry.
  46. Prompt rejected by safety filters. Look for a small "blocked" indicator in the thread. Rewrite without restricted terms (real public figures, explicit content, certain trademarks).
  47. Reference image too large. Higgsfield caps reference uploads at ~10 MB. Compress and retry.

  48. 4. Render appears but is blank, black, or corrupted


  49. Aspect ratio mismatch between prompt and reference image. Re-run with matching ratios (or remove the reference).
  50. Conflicting camera moves in a single video prompt (e.g. "orbit and crash zoom"). Pick one.
  51. Browser cache. Hard-refresh the Cowork tab — the asset is rendered, the thumbnail is just stale.

  52. 5. Render won't post into the Cowork project library


  53. The connector only posts to projects you explicitly authorized in setup. Open connector settings and add your "Creative" project to the allowlist.
  54. If the project was archived, unarchive it or pick a different destination.

  55. 6. Teammates can't see the render


  56. The thread is private to its participants. Either invite them to the thread or move the asset to a shared project.
  57. If they see the thread but not the render, their workspace role may lack the View generated assets permission. Admin → Roles → adjust.

  58. 7. Claude refuses to write Higgsfield prompts


  59. Claude sometimes hedges on stylistic specificity. Reframe: "You are a cinematographer drafting a Higgsfield prompt. Output only the prompt, no caveats."
  60. If Claude says it can't see Higgsfield at all, the connector isn't visible to that thread — re-check Step 2 of the setup.
